Inca Pacific Resources Inc. (IPR : TSX-V) is a resource exploration company with a focus on copper and molybdenum projects in Peru.
Inca Pacific is developing the
Magistral
copper-molybdenum project located 450 Kms north-north west of Lima in the department of Ancash. To date, a total of 65,214 metres of core drilling (286 holes) has been completed as well as a series of geotechnical studies, metallurgical testing, mine layout and open pit design, tailings studies, environmental base line studies, and socio-economic studies. A final feasibility study was completed in December, 2007. An Environmental and Social Impact Assessment ("ESIA") was completed in March, 2008.

Company NewsMonday, June 29, 2009 Inca Pacific Resources Inc. announces that it has received formal approval of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for the Magistral Copper-Molybdenum Project from the Peruvian Ministry of Mines and Energy. The initial ESIA document was submitted on March 28, 2008 and was followed by presentations to local communities together with a process of public consultation, commentary and response and interaction with several government agencies. Magistral is located in northern Peru approximately 260 kilometers east of the city of Trujillo. The project involves development of a 20,000 tonnes per day open-pit mine and concentrator operation that will produce separate copper and molybdenum concentrates over a 15-year period.
