Forum Uranium Corp. and Tanqueray Resources Ltd. announced that Forum will acquire a 100% interest to certain of Tanqueray’s mineral claims that are prospective for uranium and Tanqueray will retain certain claims that are prospective for gold in the Baker Lake area of Nunavut, Canada.
Announced the final assay results for samples taken from the 1,172m drill program and surface sampling. Nine of ten drillholes in 2008 intersected anomalous gold within quartz veins or iron formation. At Jaeger South, Hole JS08-02 intersected 1.67 g/t Au over 2.2m starting at 59.4m within a quartz vein and 5.88 g/t Au and 52.5 g/t Ag over 1.0m starting at 116.5m within iron formation. Additional highlights includes from the Sam Vein Hole SV08-02 with 2.70m at 1.82g/t Au and 16.82g/t Ag from 43.2m down and in Hole ES08-01 returned 39.5g/t Ag over 0.20m from a depth of 7.8m.

Ground gravity surveys have been completed on the Diamond-Uranium Option property and a drill target has been identified. Drilling on this target will commence in the summer of 2008. On the Gold property, the database has now been re-evaluated, and suggestd that the gold mineralization, may, in fact, be sub-vertical in orientation and not moderately dipping as was earlier thought. Additional geological sampling and mapping will commence in August followed by a 1200 meter drill program in September, 2008.
