NioGold Mining announced an update for the 2011 exploration drilling program conducted on the Malartic Block property located in the Abitibi region of Quebec, Canada.
NioGold Mining announced that it has acquired a 60% interest in the contiguous Malartic H and Malartic H Annex claim blocks located in the Malartic gold camp, Canada. The highlights of the drilling include 0.90 g/t gold over 54.5 metres and 12.39g/t gold over 1.8 metres at the H Zone and the discovery of a mineralised structure that returned an interval of 5.42 g/t gold over 5.7 metres.
New drill results released on the Normar property.Highlights include:holeTMN-06-01:0.96 m @ 2.17g/t Au; hole TMN-06-02:1.26 m @ 6.48 g/t Au;hole TMN-06-03:1.21 m @4.39 g/t Au. Hole TMN-06-01 intersected the mineralized structure approximately 100 metres above the zone in hole TMN-03-19. Holes TMN-06-02 and TMN-06-03 intersected the mineralized structure approximately at the same elevation, 100 metres east and west of the zone discovered in hole TMN-03-19.
