A field visit was made in the reporting period during last November, for the purpose of detailed photography of the proposed work site area to use in a presentation to the World Heritage Committee meeting held in Strahan in Tasmania on the 9th November 2007. Gujarat Minerals conducted a very successful
presentation which was part of a reserve activity assessment (RAA statement) for the National Parks and Wildlife of Tasmania. The application for the work programme (close spaced drilling along the Adamsfield track some 1.5km) was successful and formal permission was granted on 26th February 2008. The process was repeated as
the application was passed on to the Commonwealth Government Department of the Environment. This department approved the application on 15 April 2008.
