Completed phase one drilling, consisting of four holes. MAG drilled four diamond core holes centered proximal to the known 0.30 m sulfide intercept. All four holes intersected dikes, garnet-epidote skarn and variable amounts of sulfide mineralization. The best hole returned 1.20 m of massive galena and sphalerite grading 300 ppb Au, 55 ppm Ag, 9.0% Pb and 5.8% Zn. Subsequent borehole geophysics has identified a promising off-hole response indicative of a conductive source probably located below hole two and consistent with the geological model for Adargas. This target will most likely be drill tested early in the next exploration program.

And Jan/98, a 2 hole, 845 m drill program was conducted to test the down rake projection of high grade mineralization and CSAMT conductors in the Adargas area. Hole 97-1 intersected 15 cm of massive sulphide which was interpreted to be a manto originating from a nearby chimney breccia, that coincides with a CSMAT anomaly.
