April 30, 1999 The Stage 1 drilling program was completed. Diamond drilling which tested the majority of the electro-magnetic targets intersected metasedimentary rocks hosting graphitic zones. The zones were believed to be the source of the anomalies. No evidence of kimberlite was found.

April 20, 1999 The Stage 1 drilling program on the companies' Afridi Lake property in the Northwest Territories has been completed. The objective of the program was to evaluate possible kimberlite targets identified by detailed electro-magnetic and magnetic low level airborne surveys. Diamond drilling which tested the majority of the electro-magnetic targets intersected metasedimentary rocks hosting graphitic zones. These zones are believed to be the source of the electro-magnetic anomalies. No evidence of kimberlite was found. Additional work of the remaining geophysical targets is required.
