Latest Information December 31, 2005 Ssay results were received for holes CGX012-014, which were the last holes drilled during the 2005 season. Drill hole CGX012 intersected 1.0 m grading 5.35 g/t Au (from 124.5 m) and drill hole CGX014 intersected 1.0 m grading 3.89 g/t Au (from 23.0 m). Additional assessment of the surface trench and spot sampling has been made. At the Jaupaya occurrence, trenches in this area returned significant intercepts: TR02: 3.4 metres at 7.97 gAu/t and 0.36% Cu; TR03: 6.5 metres @ 4.69 gAu/t including 2 metres at 1.01% Cu; and TR09: 10 metres @ 1.41 gAu/t, including 4 metres @ 2.92 gAu/t. September 30, 2005 Assay results were received for holes CGX007 and CGX008. Results are encouraging, with highlights being 10.9 metres at 6.78 gAu/t in CGX008; 14.7 metres at 18.08 gAu/t in CGX009;and 17.2 metres at 7.10 gAu/t in CGX011. Drilling during the 2003-2005 seasons has established some continuity of mineralization in the Southern Zone over an approximate 300 m strike length additional to that already explored (Central Zone). June 30, 2005 The drills have encountered some mineralized skarn. Assays were awaited. During the quarter, an mixed exploration team took 437 channel samples, 500 rock chip samples and 120 stream sediment samples. Two interest zones have been identified, Jaupaya, with assays of up to 21g/t gold, 1.7% copper and 43g/t silver, and the northern extensions of the Altyn Jilga Northern Zone. |
