February 6, 2001
Rock Resources Ltd. announced that it has been advised by its legal counsel that a Summary Trial date has been set for March 12 and 13, 2001 in the Supreme Court of B.C. to resolve liability issues. The issues concern whether the government owes compensation for the taking of the Amber claims by virtue of the government's declaration of a park or by virtue of the fact that the government did not have the legislative authority to take the subject claims. If the Court rules in Rock Resources' favour it will proceed further to determine damage issues.

2 samples from the underground workings of the claim block were sent for assay. Sample No. 1 returned 15.49 oz/t Ag, 30.4% Pb and 29.0% Zn. Sample No. 2 returned 21.40 oz/t Ag, 33.4% Pb and 30.3% Zn. In 1997, all work was stopped on the property after two of the claims were expropriated by the Government of British Columbia rendering the property unsuitable for further development.
