4 RC drill holes designed to test the jasperoid were completed. No significant values for either gold or silver were reported.
In 1997, work consisted of survey grid establishment, prospecting, geological mapping, geochemical soil sampling, a magnetrometer survey and a controlled source audio
magnetotelluric (CSAMT) survey. The exploratory work was successful in outlining strong geochemical anomalies for gold, mercury, arsenic and molybdenum relating to an outcrop of jasperoid approximately 5,200 feet long and up to 150 ft in width, and soil covered areas surrounding it. The CSAMT geophysical survey indicates high resistivity response over the
jasperoid and related geochemical anomalies.
