Exploration work in 2005 proved that the known geochemical anomaly is caused by multiple-metal mineralization. Mineralization is found in altered rhyolite in the southwest part of the district and in nine distinct alteration bodies of rhyolite and rhyolite tuffs in the northeast part of the district. Three major electrical anomalies (with Fs > 5%) were measured in the field by induced polarization in the northeast portion of the district.

The planned work program consists of detailed geological mapping at a scale of 1:2000, geophysical surveys consisting of magnetic profiling and electromagnetic surveys and approximately 600m of diamond drilling to determine the vertical and lateral extent of the mineralized zones.
Exploration and development work (consisting of geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys, trenching, underground tunneling and diamond drilling) is expected to commence in Apr/05. (Apr 4/05)
