Nine reverse circulation drill holes were completed for a total of 1292 metres drilled. Drill hole depths ranged from 60 to 252 metres and six out of the nine holes penetrated the younger Cambrian basalts and sampled the underlying Proterozoic rocks. The other three drill holes failed to
penetrate the younger Cambrian basalts which are now known to exceed 200-250 metres in thickness in the northern target zone. All holes were sampled and logged and have been submitted for multielement analysis.

Three holes (VRC02, VRC04, VRC05) for a total of 114 metres were drilled in and around interpreted faults structures cutting through the Devonian sandstone sequence, where potential existed for roll front style sediment hosted uranium mineralisation. No significant results were returned and no further work in relation to the uranium targets is being considered.
