Latest Information December 31, 2007 Twelve kimberlites have been discovered to date in three clusters and five of the eight kimberlites sampled in 2006 were found to be diamond bearing. In 2007, auger drilling programs were completed to confirm the presence of kimberlite and to help delineate the boundaries of the kimberlites. In late 2007, kimberlite soil samples were collected for analysis to take place in 2008. February 16, 2007 A technical report recommends a two phase program of exploration and evaluation on the project. The program is a continuation of the 2006 BHP Billiton exploration program. The Phase 1 exploration program has an estimated budget of C$1.5 million. The second phase is contingent on results of the first phase. The estimated total budget for Phases 1 and 2 is C$4.75 million. |
