Property NewsJuly 5, 2001 Trans-Siberian Gold Ltd will fast-track developments at its Asacha gold deposit in Siberia with the aim of achieving first production by the second half of 2001.
The London-based gold miner has appointed Australian Mining Consultants Pty Ltd to conduct a feasibility study into the multi-faceted assignment and a start date has been set for the second half of this calendar year.
Asacha is located on the far eastern Siberian peninsula of Kamatcha. The area experiences 5-6 metres of snow a year, making access difficult during thawing periods.

Licence obligations were frozen for 2 years while TVX considers future plans for these properties.
