ASHANTI II

PMI Gold Corp. updated its drilling program for Asanko / Ashanti II, Ghana.

PMI Gold announced drilling has re-commenced at the Obotan gold project, Ghana. The 8,000 m drill program targeting the Nkran, Abore, Adubiaso and Edubia (Asuadi) deposits, is designed to confirm historical drill data. In addition, the company announced it will conduct 10,030 line km helicopter borne, high resolution magnetic and radiometric surveys over 70 km long Ashanti II gold poject located on the Asankrangwa gld belt and on the full Kubi gold project on the Ashanti Gold Belt.

Four drill holes totalling 947 m were completed on the Juabo concession, with only minor gold values being intersected. No further work is currently planned in those target areas.
