Trigon and Pele have agreed to extend the deadline for drill testing at one Attawapiskat target from June 1, 2005 to March 15, 2006 so that findings from the summer program can be incorporated into the selection and prioritization of drill targets.

Pele Mountain Resources, through its wholly owned Pele Diamond Corp, has partnered with 2043423 Ontario Inc., a private company, to acquire mining claims in the vicinity of the diamond-bearing kimberlite pipes in Attawapiskat, Ontario. The partners have staked total of 47 mining claims (40 acres) comprising the Turtle Pond property located in the area. Pele Mountain's interests in the Turtle Pond property combined with its existing Attawapiskat River project cover the largest group of mining claims within a 30 km radius of De Beers' Victor mine, which is expected to start a commercial diamond production in 2007.
Aggressive exploration progressing. Drill testing of magnetic targets using a small portable drill began immediately upon identification of ground magnetic anomalies as Pele’s magnetic survey was progressing. Following several delays in January as a result of extreme winter weather conditions, two of these anomalies were drilled to a depth of approximately 35 to 40 metres, which is approaching the practical depth limit of Pele’s portable drill. Both resulted in the successful recovery of core containing predominantly limestone from bedrock. Recently obtained detailed ground magnetic data have identified additional targets within the much stronger magnetic background of the Precambrian basement that exhibit magnetic characteristics indicative of near surface, pipe-like kimberlite intrusions. The drilling of these targets will commence in the next few days
