As of Sep/12, Volcan announced that soon would had entered in operation three major projects which will had contributed with the increase in production and sales. 1) Expansion of Animon plant from 4,200 to 5,200 tpd on the Chungar mining unit; 2) the treatment plant of silver oxides in Cerro de Pasco mining unit by the 3Q13; and 3) New Mining Unit Alpamarca, which includes the mines Alpamarca and Rio Pallanga by 3Q13.
