A total of seven drill holes were completed. Drilling was carried out to test for a bulk tonnage gold deposit as the possible source for numerous placer deposits that exist downstream along the Yaki River.

Drilling commenced. In August, Soltoro completed building drill pads, rehabilitation of roads and permitting to conduct a drill program. The Company is conducting a 10 hole, 2,000 metre diamond drill program and has completed two drill holes to date. Two different styles of mineralization have been observed. Sheeted vein mineralization hosted in a felsic intrusive and sediment hosted veins in the underlaying sediments. Initial drilling has intercepted sediment hosted veins that occur within black shales with minor limestone that are believed to be underlaying a felsic intrusive sill (which hosts gold bearing sheeted quartz veins nearby).

Recently completed a trenching program on its Bacanora gold hosted in intrusive property. The Bacanora project is being investigated for a low grade bulk tonnage gold deposit similar to that of the Fort Knox deposit in Alaska. Selected trenching results include 60 m of 0.44 g/t Au and 14 m of 1.29 g/t Au. Further trenching and mapping are underway to best define drill targets. The Company plans to conduct a 10 hole, 2,000 metre diamond drill program in the summer of 2007.
