Salmon River Resources Ltd., further to its news release of September 3, 2009, reports that Heads of Agreement (“HOA”) with International Gold Mining Limited (“IGL”) respecting the acquisition the Eureka Gold Mine in Western Australia and farm into the Mkiwa Uranium Exploration Project in Tanzania has expired as the parties were unable to settle the terms of and execute a formal agreement incorporating the terms of the HOA by November 2, 2009.

Reported exploration results. Surface spectrometer readings the anomaly anncouned prevoiusly have to date yielded results with a large portion of the ground spectrometer results going between 0.2kg/t eU3O8 and 0.6 kg/t eU3O8 but with other spectrometer readings ranging up to a high of 2.4 kg/t, eU3O8. The anomaly covers an area of approximately 5000 metres in length and in places up to 1500 metres in width

Reported that it discovered a second surface uranium mineralized anomaly 3 kilometres South / South East of the initial discovery. Surface readings at this uranium mineralized anomaly have to date yielded some results with readings ranging up to 0.81 kg/t, eU3O8.
