Property NewsSeptember 30, 2007 The team at Bambadji has been concentrating on mapping and interpretation of the geology, with particular focus on the Senegal - Mali shear zone (SMS). This is a 5 kilometre wide zone of intense deformation and strong gold anomalism, along a strike length of over 25 kilometres. A target generation exercise has highlighted 34 targets. March 15, 2007 Reported that to assist with defining new targets, an extensive trenching and geochemical
sampling program was carried out over six zones in the Bambadji Corridor, and the Boto zone. In addition, a large scale VLF geophysical survey was completed.
The 2006 program was designed to compile, review and reinterpret historic data from the Company’s properties in an attempt to refine the geologic understanding of the controls of mineralization within the Bambadji structural trend. To assist with defining new targets, an extensive trenching and geochemical sampling program was carried out over six zones in the Bambadji Corridor, and the Boto zone. In addition, a large scale VLF geophysical survey was completed. December 31, 2005 The company completed a 3,000m diamond drill and a 10,000m RAD drilling program in 2005 on the Bambadji project. The objective was to test deeper targets identified within the Bambadji structural trend.
