Latest Information January 19, 2007 Limited, test geochemical soil (four lines; 64 samples total) and stream sediment (28 samples) surveys were performed in the 2006 field season. The soil sample results were encouraging, with three stations returning results between 30 and 50 ppb gold, identifying a new potential gold zone roughly 3.5 km southwest of drill hole BT05-08 along on the Sujegtei fault linear. A total of three test survey soil lines were completed at roughly 1.5-kilometre spacing across the southwest projected extension of the Sujegtei fault zone. An additional line was also completed roughly one kilometre south of the Bayantsaagan zone. A larger, complete grid controlled soil survey is planned for 2007 July 31, 2006 Solomon drilled 12 diamond drill holes for a total of 2,222.7 metres. Results confirmed the presence of significant gold mineralization in Bayansagaan Zone and also identified a large halo zone of associated low grade gold mineralization. June 30, 2006 No work was undertaken at Bayantsaagan in the 3rd quarter, other than clean up of drill sites completed in December of 2005. |
