Geological mapping and prospecting had detailed a 2,500 x 400 m zone of alteration but failed to locate significant gold values in surface outcrops.
In 1990, a 22.4 line-km IP survey and 1,400 m of drilling was conducted on the property.
During late 1987-Jun/88, an airborne and ground magnetometer and VLF surveys, an induced polarization survey, geological mapping, and drilling 20 holes totalling 3,215 m had been completed.
From 1967 to 1980, exploration work on the property included airborne and ground magnetometer and electromagnetic surveys, trenching, geological and geochemical surveys, and diamond drilling.
