Angus & Ross announced the successful placing of 70.64 million ordinary shares at a price of 5 pence each, raising £3.53 million before expenses. Funds raised will be used to advance the company's Black Angel project in Greenland - including completion of the installation of the cable car and the commencement of the installation of equipment to allow the Black Angel Mine to become operational - and to repay the short term loan of $1.65 million due in August 2008 from Cyrus Capital Partners Europe LLP.
