September 30, 1998 Assay results were reported from a 9 hole, 1,380 m drilling program designed to test for the presence of north trending feeders and to explore for mineralization in the carbonate basement rocks underlying the Tertiary hot spring system. All 9 holes intercepted significant thicknesses of ore-grade to sub ore-grade gold mineralization ranging between 13.7 - 86.8 m thick. Gold mineralization was discovered in underlying Paleozoic carbonate rocks. |
