The company announced that drilling had begun to test an intense magnetic anomaly referred to as the Ostland zone, located two kilometers to the west of and parallel to the central zone. Five drill holes are planned to test this zone. The magnetic anomaly is linear, 2.5 km long, and approximately 250-300 meters wide. Several high grade boulders have been discovered 1 km down-ice from this magnetic feature, with values up to
2.6% copper, 7.7 g/t palladium, 0.60 g/t platinum, and 0.75 g/t gold.

Nordic Diamonds arranged a private placement of 10 million units at a price of 20 cents per unit to raise Can$2 million for exploration on its Bottenbacken and Kuopio-Kaavi Diamond projects, and for general working capital. Each unit of the placement consists of one common share and one share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles a holder to purchase an additional common share at a price of 30 cents per share for a period of two years from the closing date.
