Bassari Resources reported that exploration work on the Sekhota prospect at the Bounsankoba property had found anomalous gold results. The Sekhota prospect is situated within a plus 25 km long NE trending structural zone defined by anomalous gold and arsenic soil geochemical values. Due to the wide distribution of anomalous soil values at Sekhoto, Bassari undertook a termite mound sampling program to confirm the presence of subsurface gold mineralisation. This program has found anomalous gold values above 100 parts per billion defining a zone in excess of 2.5 kilometres in length ranging from 100 to 800 metres wide. Maximum values recorded from sampling the tops of termitaria, which represent the deeper material excavated by the termites, are 5 g/t Au and 7 g/t Au respectively.
