Perilya Ltd. announced the updated 2010 Ore Reserve and Mineral Resource statement for its Broken Hill Operation located in New South Wales, Australia. Highlights include; an ore reserves increased by over 18 per cent and a new Life of Mine plan for Southern Operations has been developed that extends the mine life to over 10 years.

Perilya Ltd reported September 2010 quarterly results. The Broken Hill mine located in New South Wales reported that it had produced 15,100 t zinc, 11,600 t lead and 0.32 Moz silver over the quarter. During the quarter all remaining Beltana ore of 9,666 tonnes (at an average grade of 36.1% for a total of 3,489 tonnes of contained zinc) was sold. At Mount Oxide, Queensland, Australia exploration project activities focussed on diamond drilling to improve the confidence of the resource, investigate the potential to increase the size and quality of the mineral resource, plus obtain samples for metallurgical and environmental test work.
