Golden Dory Resources Corp announced that the Company has optioned a portion of its Burin uranium claim located in Newfoundland, Canada, to Newfoundland Fluorspar Exploration Limited. Under the agreement, Newfluorex can earn a 100% interest in 3 mineral licences (97 claims – 2425 Ha), by issuing $25,000 in cash and 1,000,000 Newfluorex shares to Golden Dory over a three year period.

Reported that the Phase 2 airborne radiometric, magnetic and EM survey completed late in 2008 has identified significant radiometric anomalies in a previously unexplored portion of the Burin property. At least three distinct radiometric trends, 2 kilometers in length and 200-300 meters wide, are associated with a distinctive magnetic low that corresponds with a mapped volcanic complex (believed to represent cauldron subsidence). Lithologies reported by the Geological Survey of Newfoundland include flow banded rhyolites and ash tuffs which are chemically similar to the St. Lawrence Granite.
