A comprehensive gradient and deep-looking Real Section Induced Polarization geophysical survey was commissioned.
From 1986-1992, Cogema Resources explored the property and completed 58 shallow diamond drill holes. The Spade Lake gold zone was discovered and 37 drill holes explored the zone over a strike length of 4 km. Thirteen of the holes had intersections grading over 1 g/t Au. Gold and associated copper were concentrated in high grade intersections.
