Minera Condestable took control of the mine initiating a restructuring process.

The property was acquired from Cooperativa Minera Minas Canarias through its wholly-owned subsidiary Catalina Huanca Sociedad Minera S.A.C. In 2005, two geophysics studies campaigns (Induced Polarization and Resistivity) were developed in the property, as well as a first program of diamond drilling with 6,390 m executed. During 2004, the company produced 12,000 DMT/month, 8,000 DMT/month from veins with an average thickness of 2.30 and 4,000 DMT/month from mantles with a thickness of 4 to 6 m. both with an average grade of 8% Zn, 3% Pb, 0.42% Cu and 2 oz/t Ag. In addition, the company decided to increase the treatment plant capacity from 300 to 1000 MT/day, with the objective of reduce the production cost and take advantage of the deposit potential.
