July 31, 2002 A limited number of preliminary tests and assays were performed on material taken from mine dumps. It was anticipated that this material could be economically processed. However, the dump material tonnage will not support a small-scale operation without being supplemented with additional underground ore.
June 30, 2002 Equipment mobilization and set-up commenced in an effort to commence initial testing of recoverable gold and silver. It is expected that initial extraction of minerals could commence before the end of June 2002.
