Exploration work done as of Jun/02 suggests that the Changement main zone of mineralization extends in a north-west to north, north-west direction over a distance of at least 1,300 m. However, it has been mined and diamond drilled over a strike length of only 300 m. There is also evidence for spurs and sub-parallel zones and the Changement property could host a significant gold mineralization system in the Paramaca volcano-sediments. A gold-in-soil anomaly covers part of the Orapu formation, suggesting a potential for paleoplacer sediment-hosted gold deposit, similar to those identified at the Tortue property.
