Latest Information July 30, 2009 Desert Energy announced results from its first reconnaissance drilling for calcrete-hosted uranium mineralisation at two of its projects in the Northeast Yilgarn region of Western Australia. The drilling intersected anomalous uranium on several drill lines at both the Galilee and Charlie projects, associated with calcrete and calcareous sediments. September 19, 2007 Reported the results from a low level airborne magnetic-radiometric survey on the Charlie Prospect. The MagRad survey also identified a previously unknown uranium channel anomaly (approximately 5km in length) in the southeastern part of E57/668 in an area of alluvial cover. The uranium channel anomalies generally appear to coincide with paleo-drainages which are often buried under broad sand and alluvial cover |
