Latest Information June 30, 2008 Plans were to work towards a resource estimate by carrying out further trenching and oriented drilling of the Tombe prospect. March 31, 2008 Stream sediment sampling, soil sampling, trenching and induced polarization geophysical surveys followed by a number of phases of core and RC drilling totaling 429 holes have been carried out. Drilling on the Central anomaly of the Tombe Prospect returned an average grade of approximately 0.4g/t over 300 meters, including intersections of 3.2m @ 15.6 g/t, 4m @ 4.5 g/t and 4m @ 6.3 g/t. Subsequent drilling at the Tombe North area returned intersections of up to 17m @ 4.47g/t and 17m @ 9.67g/t, which potentially represent plunging higher grade shoots. The geometry and extent of these higher-grade shoots will be the focus of future work on the license. June 1, 2004 Announced drill results. Highlights include: hole CTR-275: 4.0 m @ 10.80 g/t Au from surface and hole CTR-296: 4.0 m @ 2.53 g/t Au from 32.0 m. |
