Trench 2 south returned 1.82 g/t gold over 20 m. Trench 1 north returned 1.53 g/t gold over 17 m. Seven drill holes included CH03 returning 1.88 g/t gold over 7.62 m and CH07 returning 1.99 g/t gold over 15.09 m.
A second phase of diamond drilling in 1997 resulted in the following anomalous intersections: CH-09 (4.97m to 18.21m) 13.24m grading 0.31g/t Au. CH-10 (91.85m to 95.00m) 3.15m grading 2.27g/t Au.

The sampling of old trenches returned values including 2.7 g/t gold over 6.3 m; 1.53 g/t gold over 17 m, 3.48 g/t gold over 16 m and 1.82 g/t gold over 20 m.
