Property NewsDecember 13, 2010 HudBay Minerals released its production guidance as well as its exploration and capital expenditure budgets for 2011. On the Lalor project in Canada, drill hole DUB189W01 intersected 8.00 meters that assayed 9.28 g/t gold. On the Reed Lake JV, drill hole RLD-015 intersected 10.09 meters of massive sulphide in the zone 10 horizon, which assayed 0.67 g/t Au, 5.20 g/t Ag, 2.39% Cu and 0.23% Zn. December 17, 2009 HudBay Minerals announced additional drill results from the Lalor deposit near the Flin Flon Greenstone Belt, Canada. Key results intersected in the Copper-Gold zone included DUB263W05, which assayed 9.62 g/t Au, 29.01 g/t Ag, 6.46% Cu, and 0.40% Zn over 30.94m from 1261.68 to 1292.62m and in drill hole DUB263W03, which assayed 11.75 g/t Au, 35.36 g/t Ag, 5.89% Cu and 0.43% Zn over 32.78m from 1253.36 to 1288.14m. October 30, 2009 HudBay Minerals announced that it will re-start operations at its Chisel North mine and concentrator in Snow Lake, Manitoba, Canada effective immediately, with full production expected in the second quarter of 2010. |
