Ashburton has an option agreement with Solitaire Minerals to acquire a 60% interest in the Chukuni property. January 4, 2010 Ashburton Ventures announced it is implementing a 1,000 m drill program on the Chukuni Property, Ontario, Canada. The priority target is a 10 m wide shear zone which historically produced assays up to 16 g/t gold. Drilling is anticipated to begin on January 4th, 2010. March 23, 2009 Solitaire Minerals Corp. announced that it has granted an option to Ashburton Ventures Inc. to acquire a 60% interest in the Chukuni gold Property consisting of 3 claims, covering 1,520 acres in the Red Lake Mining District of Ontario. |
