Latest Information  October 15, 2002 In line with its new initiative of exploring for Iron Oxide Copper Gold deposits (IOCG) Fronteer Development has optioned the Conjuror Property from Phelps Dodge. The Conjuror property in the Bear Province, N.W.T., immediately north of the Terra Peninsula, which hosts the historic high-grade silver ± cobalt ± copper mines such as Norex, Terra and Northrim. Fronteer may earn a 100% interest in the Conjuror property by reimbursing Phelps Dodge CAD25,000 for its initial staking costs, paying CAD100,000 in cash or shares over the next four years and conducting CAD500,000 worth of exploration before October 4, 2006. Fronteer now has four noncontiguous properties in the northern Bear Province, comprising some 29,437 acres. |
