Barrick reported Q3 financial and operating results. Highlights include a net income was a record US$837 million (US$0.85 per share). Adjusted Q3 net income rose 75% to $829 million (US$0.84 per share) compared to US$473 million (US$0.54 per share) in Q3 2009. Operating cash flow also set a new Company record, rising 40% to US$1.28 billion from US$911 million in the prior year period, demonstrating Barrick's strong leverage to the gold price.

Royal Gold announced the financial and operational results for the third quarter ended 31 March 2010. Highlights for Q3 2010 include; a record royalty revenue of US$35 million and a net loss attributable to stockholders of US$5.8 million, or US$0.13 per basic share. This compares to royalty revenue of US$20.8 m and net income of US$4.1 m, or US$0.12 per basic share, for Q3 2009. For the 9 month period ended March 31, 2010, royalty revenue totaled US$95.9 m and net income totaled US$11.0 m, or US$0.26 per basic share. In addition, production at Cortez Mine, Nevada, USA, exceeded the estimated guidance due to sequencing of ore and higher grades within the Pipeline Complex.
