A program of soil geochemistry and geological mapping was completed on the Crazy Fox (Demers) prospect. Coincident geochemical anomalies and favourable geology present several drill targets. However, the decision was made that further geological mapping is required in these favourable areas prior to the initiation of any further drilling. This proposed mapping will be undertaken in the spring of 2002 and will include prospecting on the southern portion of the Demers property (Fox claims). The Need and Road claims cover several zones of highly anomalous gold in soils and rock grabs. This prospect will be incorporated into the Demers program of work slated for next year.

Drilling was postponed because the first drillhole was stopped in a large fault was intersected at a depth of 816 feet downhole. Due to the unexpected depth of sedimentary rock at this location, additional geologic mapping and soil surveying was planned to reassessteh drillhole location plan and adjust the existing drill permit.
