Latest Information May 15, 2008 Six core-holes were drilled. No significant results were obtained and the project has been terminated. September 20, 2006 Announced that the concession applicant holder and his immediate family recovered 45 kilograms of gold from a contiguous placer pit about 30 metres by 50 metres in linear size, with an average vertical depth of approximately five metres. The placer operation exposed a four-metre-wide vein and silicified zone and low-grade disseminated veining in the exposed wall rock as far as 30 metres from the leader vein. Wall rock samples by Brazauro averaged gold grades of one gram per tonne to two grams per tonne while samples of the vein material consistently returned grades in the range of 4.1 g/t Au to 32.4 g/t Au. By the time of this announcement there was no campsite at the property and no inhabitants living there. |
