Drilling was completed at various sites are in a strongly mineralized zone extending more than 10 km. on strike along a series of gold-bearing quartz veins running East-West just to the North of the villages of Andimaka and Dabolava, and in the vicinity of the village of Kiranomena. The 2,000 metre drilling program tested reconnaissance level targets suggested by previous field mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysical interpretation, and shallow trenching along the more than 10 km. east-west Mountain of Gold shear system which hosts historic French colonial as well as past and present Malagasy artisanal workings along most of its length.

Reported that results from an extensive surface sampling campaign along the regional trend have to date returned 70 samples over 0.5 g/t Au, with 24 samples greater than 3.0 g/t Au.

The company announced that results of its extensive regional geochemical sampling program undertaken in 2007 have now been received from ALS Laboratories and confirm existence of the gold-bearing trend to at least 8.5 km on its Mountain of Gold Project.
