An extensive examination of drilling results in the Dalmacia – Arco Iris prospect has increased confidence in the structure and potential of the orebody in the Dalmacia section.

RC drilling was underway at Arco Isis. The drilling thus far has surpassed expectations, with considerable intersections of ore detected. This confirms the extension along strike of the Dalmacia orebody which was suggested by geophysical interpretation and costeaning of the area.
In 2007, a program of Reverse Circulation drilling was planned and completed at Dalmacia with a total of 5,035 metres of drilling completed and sampled. This campaign revealed Dalmacia to be an orebody of substance that would provide a second and open-pit mine alongside Cinabrio, to fill the Punitaqui concentrator.

Exploration development continued, with additional resources from the suspension of activities at the Diatrema Mine being relocated to the underground development at Dalmacia. Total
development increased to 242 metres. An initial 3000 metre RC surface drilling program was also started.
