Giralia Resources reported an upgrade to the JORC mineral resource category from inferred to indicated for the major portion of the Mt Webber iron ore
deposit, part of the company’s Daltons joint venture, south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The new indicated mineral resource for the Main Southern zone of the Mt Webber deposit is estimated at 28.9 million tonnes at 57.9% Fe, 6.69% SiO2, 1.49% Al2O3, 0.097% P and 8.17% LOI (63.05% CaFe). Additional Inferred Resources in the Lower Zone and Northern Zone are effectively unchanged at 6.2 million tonnes.
Giralia Resources NL announced infill RC drilling results at Daltons-Mt Webber Joint Venture (Giralia 75% interest, Haoma Mining NL 25% interest) project in Western Australia. Highlights include hole RCDW055 intersecting 78.0 m grading 59.8% Fe from 10.0 m. Additionally follow up rock chip sampling and mapping has been completed in the Soanesville area around 10 kilometres west of the Mt Webber deposit, where several undrilled zones of outcropping hematite mineralisation were recognised.
