Latest Information June 30, 1994 Some 6 seperate targets zones within the 2 main trends had been identified for evaluation; most of the targets have had some past production and in the case of the Jefferson and Pennsylvania Mines production was halted where the vein was off-set by faulting. Prior to 1960 Newmonth Mining operted the Dannybroge at average grades of 24 g/t gold, and the main vein remained open at depth when closed; other veins are known in the mine area. During the 1900's the Jefferson and Pennsylvania mines operated at averge grades over 68 g/t gold (on a structure seperate from the Dannybroge), and were open on strike and to depth.
