Medusa Mining announced further drill results at its Lingig project, Philippines. Highlights include hole LIN040 intersecting 86.0 m grading 0.12% copper, 0.02 g/t gold from 177.90 m including 20.0 m grading 0.11% copper, 0.01 g/t gold from 275.90 m.

Medusa Mining reported that drilling has continued to locate copper mineralisation at potentially economic grades within a very large copper-anomalous envelope. Highlights at a 0.1% copper cut-off includes from Hole LIN14 with 209.1m at 0.25% Cu and 0.07g/t Au, in LIN17 returned 44.5m at 0.34% and 0.09g/t Au and LIN 19 found 159.7m at 0.40% Cu and 0.04g/t Au.

Announced that permits had been granted and drilling has commenced at the Lingig prospect. New drill hole LIN 1 intersected 89.9 metres at 0.3% copper in the overlying volcanic rocks.
