Latest Information October 31, 1999 The field program had identified a WNW-trending, 3 x 1 km, open-ended area, containing quartz vein float, as well as silt and soil samples anomalous in gold and pathfinder elements. Four tributaries draining the area contained silts anomalous in gold (35.7, 12.4, 35.4, and 23.2 ppb), as well as arsenic, antimony and mercury. Reconnaissance soil samples collected east to west in the anomalous area contained elevated Au (up to 146 ppb), arsenic and antimony. October 4, 1999 Prospector International Resources has completed the 1999 field season, consisting of first-stage gold exploration on six Pogo-target properties in the Tintina gold belt, west-central Yukon Territory. The regional reconnaissance exploration program consisted predominantly of silt and soil sampling and was aimed at determining whether the staked targets warrant further work. Four of the six properties explored returned significant results. |
