At the South Arturo deposit, the planned 2006 drill program was completed in the first half of the year. The scope of the project has been expanded and the original exploration budget has been increased. Four drill rigs continue to drill targets with the objectives to better define the ore with infill and extensional drilling.
In 2005, exploration highlights include the discovery of the South Arturo zone. Twenty-eight holes were drilled to test this new target and all holes intersected oxide mineralization. Preliminary metallurgical results are favorable.
Follow-up drilling will resume early in 2006 and will include in-fill and extension holes.
