Latest Information January 4, 2007 Announced assay results of channel samples collected from underground workings at the Yinmin Mine near the northern boundary of the Company’s Dongchuan Project in southwestern China. The assay results indicate wide gold and/or copper mineralization zones intersected by the underground workings in the same stratigraphy that hosts the Boka deposit. June 30, 2006 Announced plans for the western part of the Dongchuan property where outcrops of mafic and ultramafic rocks, which are favourable for nickel-copper-PGE mineralization, have been identified. May 25, 2006 Provided an update on exploration. Soil and bedrock sampling (a total of 10,520 samples) covering a 131-square-kilometre area indicated a number of gold anomalies along a structural zone that extends from the Boka gold mineralization belt. Assays on 512 rock chip samples from surface outcrops and one underground working returned anomalous gold values in some samples ranging from 0.3 to 1.3 grams per tonne. Channel sampling and structural geological mapping started throughout the extensive underground workings. |
