Reported that the Nunavut Water Board (NWB) issued a positive "decision" on the water licence application for the Doris North mine. The NWB has recommended to the Minister of Indian and Northern Affairs
Canada that a five-year type A water licence be issued to Miramar Hope Bay Ltd., covering the construction, operation and ultimate reclamation of the Doris North project.

Made progress on the updated feasibility study for Doris North project and on the final public hearing. The two-year Doris North project is scheduled to commence operations in the third quarter of 2008.

Miramar Mining completed a Can$20 million flow-through financing comprised of 3.08 million flow-through common
shares at Can$6.50 per share. The financing was underwritten through a syndicate of Canadian investment dealers and led by Dundee Securities Corporation. Proceeds will be used to expand and advance the existing resources on the Hope Bay belt properties and to fund the initial construction of Doris North to the extent that expenditures qualify as flow-through expenditures.
