MetalCORP Limited announces that its Dorset Gold Property located near Wawa, Ontario is being advanced by its joint venture partner, Trelawney Mining and Exploration Inc. Recently announced to be moving ahead with preparations to extract a bulk sample. Its plans include additional metallurgical testing, obtaining the necessary permitting and securing a contractor for road construction and the mining of the bulk sample.
Trelawney is moving ahead with preparations to extract a bulk sample from the Dorset property, located near Wawa, Ontario. Planning for the operation began in March of this year and, currently, Trelawney management is focused on obtaining necessary permitting and securing a contractor for road construction and the mining of the bulk sample.
Announced the assay results have been received from all 8 holes drilled. Drilling was focused in the immediate vicinity of the recently stripped area of the Dorset "B" zone to test near surface gold mineralization. All holes returned significant gold mineralization. Highlights of gold results are 7.52 g/t gold over a core length of 2.5m in drill hole DB-08-02 from 25.6m downhole and 2.78 g/t gold over a core length of 3.3m in drill hole DB-08-06 from 23.3m downhole.
